I think mainly of beakers and lab coats when I think of science. However, with the more science classes I have taken, I have realized that is not true. There is really science all around us. For example, psychology is within our own brain which we can't even see! My image of science is changing every day.

What I think about when I hear science and research is like a lab coat and some old guy looking at a test tube. I know that there's a lot that goes into science and research and we would not be able to be where we are today if it wasn't for researching new things in the world. I also see a lot of chemistry for some reason and I don't really have a reason for that.

The first thing that pops into my head when I think about science is basic lab tools like Erlenmeyer flasks, Rotary mixers, ect. When I think about research the first thing that I think about or imagine is papers with lots of information on a certain topic and a pile of books.

When I think of science I picture a scientist in a white lab coat sitting at a lab station mixing chemicals in beakers and test tubes. When I think of research I think of people taking surveys or polls and analyzing the data in tables or charts.
