What defense mechanism do you usually use? Why do you think this is the case?

The mind is in the brain and the word soul is used in movies to describe the part of the brain that decides decisions for us. In actuality, the soul is only in movies and the brain is real.

I do believe we have souls because the brain and the mind are different things, I believe the brain powers the mind and makes u able to think and feel everything

Personally, I do not believe these are the same thing. I think the mind controls our beliefs and our ways of thinking about certain things. The brain is what controls the technical functions of the body.

I think that the brain is separate from the mind because the mind is how someone is defined whereas the brain breaks down more into the science of it all. I think we do have souls but that refers to our entire body rather than just our head. It seems to simple to combine the brain and mind into one specific thing since they both can be interpret in different ways.

The brain and the mind is not the same because your brain is visible while your mind is invisible. Your mind is the world of thoughts, feelings, attitude, imagination, and personal beliefs. Your brain is a physical organ that is most likely associated to the mind but your mind is not confined to your brain.
