If you could go back in time to your first year…” If you could go back in time, as yourself, to observe any single event from your first year of life, what would you want to witness? Why this event? Describe how you think it would be.
What defense mechanism do you usually use? Why do you think this is the case?

If I could go back, I would want to witness my first time walking. I think it would be cool to feel what its like to use your legs like that for te first time since I do it so effortlessly now.

I would want to witness my first word. I've always been interested in what it was, and there is no way that my parents could have been sure that it was the first time I uttered a word. I think my first word was "Mama" but I still would want to know for sure because that is a cool thing to know.

If I could go back to my first year, I would probably just go witness the moment my parents found out they would be having another kid and also to see how my sister acted since I have heard so many stories about it.

If I could go back in time to my first year, I would first want to witness my first day home from the hospital to see my family's reactions. I would also want to witness any first year milestones, and when we moved from Virginia to North Carolina.

If I could go back any witness any event in my first year it would be the first day I called my Step-Father "Dad" because when my Mother and Step-Father first met I was very young and I can't recollect any memories before meeting him or even the early memories I made with him. I would like to go back to that event because anytime I am in a nostalgic mood I always ask my Mom to tell me about it and most the time she can't recollect any details. I would like to go back just to see my Dad's reaction.
