What is an issue you feel strongly about (e.g., abortion, death penalty)? How
would you react if research demonstrated that your opinion was wrong? What would it take before you would believe the evidence?

I feel very strongly about the use of tobacco and other things you smoke. I would be upset if new resaerch cme out that proved me wrong, but I would accept it.
I feel strongly about abortion. I don't think people other than the mother should have a say in what they do with the child. Especially in cases where somehting like rape is involved abortion should be an option. I think if you are against abortion then you just shouldn't have one instead of bashing people who do. If science was put out to demote my opinion I don't think I would change my mind because I honestly believe that there could not be much substantial evidence to show that it should be illegal.
I feel very strongly about abortion and giving people the availability to have an abortion if they need one for their life. I also feel very strongly about Planned Parenthood, and I think it should be kept open because it does a more wide variety of things than just abortions. If there was scientific evidence that came out that said that abortions were harmful to the human population, it would be very hard for me to understand that news because I just do not believe it. I would need to have very hardcore evidence with many trials to go through in order for them to sway my opinion on pro-choice.
I feel very strongly about gun laws and safety of individuals in America. I would be very angered about my issue if there was new research to come out saying my opinion is wrong, since it is what I believe and I do not feel that you can prove someones opinion wrong. It would take a lot of effort since I am set on my belief and I feel it is the right opinion to hold, but also I can not speak for everyone even if it annoys me.
I am strongly in favor of the death penalty for capital crimes. But if some research were to come out that provided valid evidence against the death penalty then i would begin to questions it. I would not flip my views immediately, but if enough evidence were provided i would eventually come around.
