What defense mechanism do you usually use? Why do you think this is the case?

Aggression comes from your unconscious. Mostly it comes out when you are stimulated, or triggered by someone or something pushing you in the wrong direction. It also comes out when you are unaware, such as when you are drunk or high, it makes your brain easily stimulated to angry fits. We learn aggression through our environment. If your parents are aggressive, you tend to be more aggressive.

Aggression usually comes from people's personality and those who surround them. It can be from someone else's aggression also. I feel that we learn aggression and are not born with it because some people are more passive than others, most likely due to the way they were raised.

I think aggression typically comes from fear. Therefore, it is a learned response. If we didn't have anything to fear there would be no aggression to come of that. Our environment can stimulate this or even our experiences in life.

I think aggression comes from prolonged frustration and one's level of patience and understanding. I think aggression can be sparked from social or environmental factors, such as where/how you grew up, the amount of friends you have, etc. I think these factors are what leads to increased aggression, but I do feel that some people naturally have aggressive characteristics that could potentially be hidden until later in life, but having aggressive tendencies innately could be due to survival nature.

I believe aggression comes from ones environment and is a behavior learned overtime. People may use aggressive behavior to deal with an issue or if they feel threatened or in lack of control of a situation.
