What defense mechanism do you usually use? Why do you think this is the case?

I admire my grandparents for being in love because they make an effort everyday to say "I love you" to each other, even when they are mad at each other. They also take care of each other, by making sure each person goes to the doctor when they get sick and making things for each other. For example, my grandpa is an engineer so he makes make contraptions to help my grandma's garden. And my grandma makes my grandpa really special dinners for him.

I admired a couple that used to be in love, but then they got a divorce so I am not sure I will admire anyone who is in love until I genuinely know the feeling. I feel like there's no point in admiring anyone just because I want to experience these things on my own.

I don't really have a specific couple that I admire for being in love. I think it is cool that they have found someone they love but I admire them more as an individual than a couple.

I admire my parents and both sets of my grandparents. All three couples show great devotion to their significant others, whilst maintaining their own beliefs and desires. All of these couples have made true love a goal for myself in my own life, and I'm very thankful to have grown up surrounded by such strong relationships and couples.

There is not a specific couple that I admire more than others. I guess it really depends on if they are happy and if they are still able to be together throughout the tough parts of life. I more admire individuals who have someone to add to their lives, not be their whole lives.
