What defense mechanism do you usually use? Why do you think this is the case?

9/11 changed the US in many ways. Starting with the airports, there was a drastic enhancement with aviation security. There has also been respiratory illnesses, cancers, and PTSD disorders linked and/or emerged since that day. There's also the enhancement of web surveillance where the government watches everyone's web searches, call, texts, ect.

9/11 has changed the United States in a variety of ways. Our travel security is much higher, our first-responders are more recognized and honored, and the government keeps a much closer eye out for anything that could be threat to our country. My life was not impacted by 9/11 as much as it would have been if I were alive during the time, but my parents did decide to have a baby because of all the people who were killed, and that baby ended up being me.

9/11 changed America in more ways than one. First being increased security in airports. Second being the government watching over us more than before and lastly by bringing racism and suspicion into the minds of American citizens. This event hasn't really impacted my life as much as it has others because I look like a typical American citizen: caucasian with no foreign accent.

It as changed the USA because of the fear around different religions and also the amount of added security. Before 9/11 there was almost no limitations to what you could bring on an airplane. It has effected my life because now going through security requires a lot of extra steps such as taking your shoes off and going through metal detectors.
