I typically make quizlets to study test materials. I would like to improve my long term memory.

Especially when it comes to vocabulary I typically associate the term I am supposed to memorize with a word that would help me identify it quickly and correctly. Sometimes I also make a rhythm or tune with the terms, so I would be able to recall the terms at the correct part of the rhythm. Something that I would like to improve about my memory is to be able to be able to remember things for longer periods of time and not only when its convenient, like for a test or quiz.

My strategies for studying is looking over all the notes and material we learned. I also make note cards if it is for memorizing certain terms, but if its not I will just read over the notes and make sure I understand it fully. I memorize material by simply going over it constantly until I know it. I would like to improve my memory by learning it quicker by the day the test or quiz comes because I usually forget.

My strategies for studying include flash cards, rewriting my notes, creating practice tests or quizzes, and reading over the material periodically. By doing so, I am able to better recall the information because I can visualize what my notes looked like. I believe I have a good memory as a whole but I know that my short term memory is better than my long term memory so I hope to find new ways of studying that help the material stay in my head longer.
